Pellicano’s Rambla hits major growth milestone

Pellicano’s short stay accommodation brand Rambla has reached a significant growth milestone, expanding to 172 Apart-Hotel rooms across five locations, with a further 100 rooms under construction.
Launched three years ago as an extension of Pellicano’s build to rent platform, Rambla was established to respond to growing demand for flexible, design led accommodation that offers the comfort of home with the consistency and service of a professionally managed stay.
Since launch, Rambla has welcomed more than 57,000 guests, attracting business travellers, extended stay visitors and remote workers seeking an alternative to traditional hotels and peer to peer rental platforms.

Rambla’s fully furnished, fully serviced model offers apartment-style living without the common pain points of short-term platforms including inconsistent quality, limited service and unreliable management.
The portfolio currently includes accommodation across Brisbane’s Woolloongabba, Fortitude Valley, Bowen Hills and Kangaroo Point and Brunswick in Melbourne, each located within well connected urban precincts and offering access to premium lifestyle amenity. Whilst the quality is consistent across each Rambla location, the design is tailored to embody the unique characteristic of its neighbourhood.
Across all properties, guests benefit from a range of hotel style facilities, including resort style pools, wellness spaces, gyms and shared communal areas including co-working spaces, supported by an efficient and consistent service experience.
Each Rambla location is serviced by Neuewell, a wellness-driven amenity framework blends upscale facilities with holistic health and community focused spaces including shared pools, saunas, cabanas and fitness studios, reinforcing Rambla’s appeal to travellers prioritising wellbeing, balance and connection in their stay.

“Rambla was created to meet a clear gap in the market, accommodation that feels like home but is professionally run,” Nando Pellicano, Managing Director at Pellicano told The Hotel Conversation.
“The strong uptake and repeat visitation we have seen over the past three years reflects a shift in how people want to live, work and travel,” he continued.
The brand has experienced strong levels of repeat visitation, with guests returning for the consistency, amenity and sense of comfort not typically found in short term accommodation.
Travel agent and repeat Rambla guest, Amy Morrison, regularly recommends Rambla to her clients – particularly corporate travellers and those seeking extended, multi-month accommodation.

“I’ve consistently found Rambla delivers exactly what it promises, the comfort of home with the reliability of a professionally managed property,” Morrison said.
“From the seamless digital check-in system to the design and functionality of the spaces, Rambla removes the friction often associated with short-term accommodation.”
“The wellness facilities and rooftop spaces elevate the experience beyond traditional short-stay. They create a sense of lifestyle and community while still offering spaces for quiet work, which travellers really value,” Morrison continued.
With further expansion of 100 Apart-Hotel rooms under construction at Oxford House, South Brisbane, Rambla continues to strengthen its position as a hybrid accommodation model, bridging the gap between hotels, traditional rentals and short stay platforms.
