Trafalgar All Sold Out

The $85 million Trafalgar Lane at Woolloongabba has sold out as construction on the 20-storey mixed-use development tops out.

The Pellicano tower was Brisbane’s fastest selling project in the first quarter of 2014, with over 100 sales, and Queensland development manager Michael Kent said the consistent sales momentum and sellout of apartments ahead of the building’s completion reinforced the allure of the inner-city suburb.

Trafalgar Lane overlooks the Gabba Stadium and has 147 one, two and three-bedroom apartments and a five-level podium with 1000sq m of commercial office space and 1000sq m of ground floor retail.

“Trafalgar Lane occupies a prime position in Woolloongabba, which has undergone significant urban rejuvenation in recent years and has become a sought after location for young professionals looking for a lifestyle purchase and investors seeking a solid financial opportunity,” Mr Kent said. “What was once an industrial transport hub now offers high-quality lifestyle amenities in a desirable urban neighbourhood, with an array of popular bars and restaurants within walking distance.”

Mr Kent said owner-occupiers had been attracted to Trafalgar Lane, with first home buyers well represented.

“The convenient location makes it an ideal home for those who work in the city, which will also be a key draw card for tenants looking to rent an apartment in the heart of a thriving urban hub,” he said.

The developer has a pipeline of more than 1500 apartments with its fourth development within Woolloongabba – South City Square – under construction.
